Welcome to our website. We are located in East Nashville, Tennessee. We are a church where everyone is welcome and made to feel at home. Community Christian Church is located in the heart of the city, and maintains a spirit of friendliness and love.

Community Christian Church is a Christ-centered, Spirit-led Disciple church, committed to spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. Lively praise and worship, Bible-based, powerful preaching, practical Bible teaching, and great fellowship characterize our worship services. At Community Christian Church you will find a church that is open to everyone and one that that loves to worship Christ.

Mission Statement

The Mission of Community Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), is to worship God through service, to lead souls to Jesus Christ, and establish disciples of the Word into the Kingdom of God through evangelizing, preaching and teaching the Word of God. (Matthew 28:19-20)

Vision Statement

To provide the East and greater Nashville area with a church sensitive to the needs of people especially those who are nominal Christians, offering a ministry that is chacterized by a loving, forgiving, and accepting environment.

Angel Food Ministry Shuts Down For Good

“Angel Food Ministries has considered many options regarding our future,” reads a message posted on the ministry's website. “At this time we regret to inform you that we have not found a solution that will allow Angel Food Ministries to continue to distribute food on a monthly basis and have decided to cease operations.”
AFM is a Georgia-based nonprofit that was founded in 1994 by Pastors Joe and Linda Wingo to provide discounted food items to the poor and needy. Approximately 500,000 families a month purchased from the organization prior to its shutdown.
